The National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party PDP, Prince Uche Secondus had on Friday led a delegation of top party members on a solidarity visit to Governor Darius Ishaku in Jalingo, Taraba state.
Granting brief interview to newsmen shortly after a closed door meeting with the Governor, the National Party Chairman described the Governor as hardworking Governor, making the party proud in Taraba state.
Prince Secondus pledged the readiness of the party to continue to support the Governor for the success of his administration and for the victory of the Party in future elections.
“We arrived here and we met with our hardworking Governor, we are here on a solidarity visit and during this meeting we held a very useful discussion with the Governor.”
On 2023 General Elections, Prince Uche Secondus promised to provide level playing ground for all party members, describing PDP as very democratic party.
On his part Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State, who spoke on the security challenges facing the country, appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to as a matter of urgency consider employment of productive youth into the security organisations so as to meet with the security needs of the country.
Speaking also on his part, the Party’s Deputy National Chairman North, Sen. Sulaiman Nazif Gamawa used the medium to acknowledge the commitment of the Governor towards the overall development of the state.
