Governor Darius Ishaku has constituted a judicial panel of Inquiry and restitution for victims of police brutality and Security Agencies in the State.

This is sequel to the directive by the National Economic Council NEC in its meeting of Thursday October fifteen, twenty twenty to all states to probe Police brutality and killings.

Members of the Committee are Justice Christopher Danjuma Awubra, Shawulu Kaboson, Joseph Gimba, Aminu Adamu Sabo, Karkaji Dan Adi, Samuel Tari, Yakubu Garpha Usman, Representative of Students Union, Christian Association of Nigeria and Representative of Muslim Council all Members while Elihu Pheedami Eskenah is to serve as help desk officer for Complaints and Petition.

Speaking at the Ceremony which took place at the Government House, Governor Darius Ishaku said given the prevailing trend of end SARS makes the Commission to be expedient base on section two of the Judicial Commission of Inquiry Law Cap thirty four which empower him to do so.

He urged Members of the Commission to carry out their assignment diligently.

Governor Ishaku thanked youths for conducting themselves in a matured way during end SARS protest and promised to do more for them.

Commenting, on behalf of the Members Justice Christopher Danjuma Awubra thanked Governor Ishaku for giving them the rare privilege to serve the state.

He pledged the resolve of Members of the Committee to execute the assignment with integrity.

The Committee has two Months of Sixty days to submit its report.
