The Academic Management staff of the College of Nursing and Midwifery Jalingo, Taraba today paid an appreciation visitation to the Wife of Taraba Governor at her office of Hope Afresh Foundation Taraba.
Spearheaded by the college’s provost, Augustus Kilo with representatives of Midwifery students who have been selected by the governor’s wife from rural areas of the state for a fully funded scholarship program on Community Nursing and Midwifery.
CEO of Hope Afresh Foundation Taraba, Barr. Anna Ishaku expressed her delight in providing such an opportunity to open doors for learning to enrich the helpless in the society.
She urged the students to be studious and not misuse the great privilege awarded to them so that the health training they will get can be utilized back in their various rural areas.
Earlier, Provost Kilo explained how the college has witnessed tremendous development by the Rescue Administration of Arc. Darius Ishaku to include trainings of the nursing students in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), renovation of their library and provision of furnitures for classrooms.
